In past posts I've talked about a beautiful beach in Southeast Asia, the Kuta beach. Now I will be a bit to uncover a very beautiful beach. This beach is located on the island of Bali. Sanur is Bali's oldest upscale resort area and is a mature beach-side town. Despite the abundance of restaurants and accommodation, it has a quiet and relaxed feel to it. In general terms, it is more expensive than Kuta but cheaper than Seminyak. Sanur tends to appeal most to middle-aged and older families, especially Europeans.

The Sanur area is sandwiched between the main Street of Ngurah Rai bypass and the beach. One main route called “Jalan Danau Tamblingan” runs north to south through the town and it is easy to orient yourself with reference to this road.

Sanur Beach Location

Sanur beach tourism object belong to Sanur Village is a popular tourism destination in Bali. Located in Denpasar region, Denpasar city, Bali Island. For precisely on the east of Denpasar, about 6Km. You can get there by car or public transportation as well. Sanur beach Bali is very famous for a long time ago, when Puputan Badung war explode in 1906. A Belgian artist has very important contributed to introduce Sanur beach among the tourists who visit Bali Island. Then He and his wife Ni Polok settle there since 1937.

Why Sanur Beach?

Sanur beach Bali has very beautiful sight since it is located on the east of Bali Island. It is very wonderful site to see sunrise contrary with Kuta beach with beautiful sunset. You will find a place call “Matahari Terbit” means sunrise where it is believed as the best place to see sunrise in Sanur beach Bali. You also could enjoy the beautiful row islands of Nusa Penida on the south east and also the beauty of Bali south beach. Now you can find that there are many small hut built on the beach to sit while waiting the sun rise or you can enjoy it while swimming.

Many tourists has known Sanur beach Bali for a long time, with its wonderful curve and half circle beach on the north side surely Sanur beach Bali is very popular among visitors around the world. You will see that on the east side of the beach there are beautiful exotic white sandy beach to enjoy.
